SOME MORE SIMPLE PLEASURES OF SPRING
1) Napping in the secret garden’s hammock
2) Snipping fresh chives for a salad, fresh peppermint for tea
3) Watching the perennials stage their comebacks
4) Listening to the trickle of the fountain and the songs of robins and mourning doves, chickadees
5) Watching the nimble squirrel’s high wire act on the power lines
6) Sniffing lemon verbena leaves
7) Working in the al fresco studio
8) Eating lunch on the back patio
9) Cutting showy white tulips for the dining room table
10) Hanging my yoga togs out to dry in the sunshine
